Jacqueline Maguire brings 25 years of federal law enforcement leadership to Sunday Strategies, combining deep operational experience with a calm, strategic approach to complex challenges.
Throughout her FBI career, Jacqueline led critical investigations and national initiatives that strengthened security, readiness, and leadership across the organization. From leading the investigation of the five hijackers of American Airlines Flight 77 after the 9/11 terror attacks to overseeing large-scale field operations, she has guided teams through consequential moments with clarity and purpose.
Her roles spanned investigative, operational, and executive leadership at every level of the Bureau, including assignments in New York, Washington, Birmingham, Philadelphia, and at the FBI Academy at Quantico.
Her expertise bridges strategy, communication, and leadership under pressure. As a senior executive, she advanced the FBI’s public affairs and training missions – helping shape organizational strategies, strengthening public trust, and mentoring the next generation of leaders – and as Special Agent in Charge of the New York Office’s Criminal Division and of the Philadelphia field office, she oversaw all investigative priorities, including cyber, national security, and criminal programs, and ensured compliance of all operational and administrative programs.
JACQUELINE MAGUIRE
As the Executive Assistant Director of the Science and Technology Branch, she led the FBI’s application of innovative scientific and technical solutions to support operational, investigative, and intelligence matters, and worked collaboratively with public and private sector partners to leverage the use of emerging technology to improve law enforcement operations.
Jacqueline earned several awards during her FBI career, including the Attorney General’s Award for Excellence in Furthering the Interests of U.S. National Security and the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service.
Prior to joining the FBI, Jacqueline worked at the Office of the Medical Examiner in Suffolk County, New York. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in comprehensive science from Villanova University, a Master’s degree in criminal justice from Long Island University, and a Master’s degree in homeland defense and security from the Naval Postgraduate School.
